--IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING SHAREGIFT USA--
Founded in 2004, under the guidance of its sister charity ShareGift (www.sharegift.org) in the UK, ShareGift USA was created to collect small, unwanted or dormant shareholdings held by individuals, aggregate them, sell them and give the proceeds to charity.
We are pleased to have pursued this objective for the past thirteen years and to have made donations to the following charities, including:
In October, 2016 the Board of Directors of ShareGift USA decided to discontinue its operations due to the fact that technology changes made minor stockholdings easier for US shareholders to sell and therefore made such share donations less likely.
ShareGift USA owes a great debt of gratitude to many organizations and individuals, including Lady Mackintosh, Chairman, and Julian Roberts, CEO, of ShareGift in the UK; to ShareGift USA's former Presidents, Margaret Thorne, Barbara Wynne and Susan Wolf, and to ShareGift USA's supportive Board of Directors.
